about us

Meet our founder & Co-Owner

Thank you for visiting Four Seasons Preschool! Please take a look through our site and see for yourself why we are the best choice when it comes to care for your child. We provide early childhood programs for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten. Some of our locations offer private kindergarten as well.

My name is Karen Arena and I am the founder of Four Seasons Preschool which I established in September 1981. I am still the owner of our Watertown location over 40 years later! I have my degree in Early Childhood Education and have taken many classes to further my education to ensure that the best decisions are always made for my staff and the children enrolled. I always have the children’s best interest in mind when creating our curriculum, schedules, and all programs at our center.

My name is Tracey Hanley, is the Director of Four Seasons Preschool in Watertown as well as Karen’s daughter. I went to The University of Tampa and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science with a focus in Elementary Education in 2004.
I continued to further my career by becoming certified in infant, toddler, and preschool as well as administration in Early Childhood. I am also the curriculum coordinator, certified in Reading with TLC and train all of our staff and franchisee owners.

In 2023 Karen and Tracey decided to franchise Four Seasons Preschool. Our mission is to help improve Early Childhood Education across the nation for families, children, and teachers. There is such a need for high quality education and care and also a need for teachers to be valued and appreciated. We know that a school is most successful when the administration and teachers works as a team. Teachers play just as much a role as the Directors and a school is not successful without amazing teachers. With our franchise model, our goal is to help teachers become owners of their own centers which will help our mission of creating the highest quality centers around.
